The sun continued to shine in a cloudless sky, while the wind was blowing at about 15km / h at the Åsum Ring for the Qualifying Practice for the last category, OK.
Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi / Parilla) was fastest in action, followed by Paavo Tonteri (Tony Kart / Vortex) in the first timed session of the European Championship at Kristianstad. Finlay Kenneally (Tony Kart / Vortex) was close by 9 thousandths, but Sami Taoufik (FA Kart / Vortex) and Theo Pourchaire (Kosmic / Vortex) took the lead at the end of the session. Travisanutto however replied on the wire with a lap of 51”308, 15 thousandths ahead of Taoufik. Kenneally finished 3rd in front of Pourchaire and Sebastian Persson (Tony Kart / Vortex).
Noah Milell (Kosmic / Vortex) and Dennis Hauger (CRG / Parilla) competed in the second session. Milell kept improving up to 51”323, ahead of Hauger and Ulysse De Pauw (Kosmic / Parilla). Hannes Janker took 4th place and Caio Collet (Birel ART / TM) at the last second beat David Schumacher (Tony Kart / Vortex) for 5th.
Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart / Vortex), Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart / Vortex), Callum Bradshaw (CRG / Parilla) and Théo Nouet (Energy / Parilla) quickly took over the front of the third session, delayed as much as the previous sessions to take to the track. Bulantsev then increased the pace and finished as a leader on a time of 51”323 identical to that of Milell and Taoufik. Hiltbrand was 2nd by a tenth and Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) 3rd. Bradshaw was 4th and Simon Ohlin (Tony Kart / Vortex) 5th.
Travisanutto took pole in front of a trio of perfectly equal drivers, defeated by their second fastest laps. Milell took 2nd place ahead of Bulantsev and Taoufik. Hauger in 5rd was also tied with Kenneally in 6th, followed by Pourchaire and Hiltbrand.
